The Lavina Crossing has had a number of meanings over the years,
but Rose Wise recruited it specifically as the name of her family's cafe in the late 90s.

The Lavina Crossing Cafe became diner, meeting place, and media outlet for several years.
It also was the focus of Rose's artistic work and publishing of The Lavina Legend newspaper.

Rose Wise had many talents which she readily shared with family, friends and communities.
Rose died in November 2007 leaving many gifts and memories of her presence.
